Will my insurance or extended health benefits cover counselling?
Health benefit providers differ significantly from company to company and even plan to plan.
After every appointment, I will supply you with a receipt of payment for services, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if covered.

What are my payment options ?
I accept Interac e-Transfers , Cash, and cheque,
Payments must be made before session if paying by
Interac e-Transfer. All other forms of payment are due at the begging of each session.
Official receipts which includes my registration number, is issued for all sessions. Receipts can be printed or emailed to you: your choice

How Does Payment for Phone/Video Counselling Work?
Each phone/ONLINE counselling session must be paid before the session begins Payment can be made by interac e-transfer.

What is your cancellation policy ?
24 hour notice or more is no charge !
​
I completely understand that life happens and sometimes things "pop-up". I have a free three strike rule for cancellations with less than 24 hour notice .
Clients who fail to show up for a scheduled appointment (“no show”) are billed for the full cost of their scheduled session and do not benefit from the free 3 strike rule .

If you have used up your "free three strikes" cancellations with less than 24 hours you will be billed for 50% of the session cost .

Out of fairness to you, if I cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours, your next appointment is 50% off. If I cancel your appointment with less than 12 hours, your next appointment is FREE.

What can I expect from my free consultation?
I realize everyone has different expectations and hopes for therapy, so I'm happy to offer a free 20-minute consultation - no strings attached. Most clients use this free consultation as a way of establishing a sense of how we will work together. Some clients have pre-planned questions, while others prefer to simply have a conversation. I encourage my clients to have some sense of what there looking for in a counsellor and what they hope to gain out of therapy. If you would like to book an appointment after our consultation I always send all new clients an intake form so I can prepare for our first session.
